FAQ / Yearly reporting by producers
Must we submit the yearly follow-up information of WEEE to the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Pirkanmaa as well as to the producer organisation?
As a member of the producer organisation you only need to report to the producer organisation. The producer organisation submits the WEEE follow-up information on behalf of its members to the authorities based on the yearly reporting.
When is the yearly report filled in?
The producer organisation requests its members to fill in the yearly report during the first quarter. The report always deals with the data of the previous year.
Must all members fill in the yearly report?
Yearly reporting is an obligation of all members of the producer organisations. Even though the business has filled in the consumer product reports, it must also submit the data of the yearly reporting to the producer organisation. Based on the a data gathered with the reporting, the producer organisations collect the data from the previous year for the supervising authority, the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Pirkanmaa. Thus the member organisations of the producer organisations need not report separately to the authority.
Where do I get the form for yearly reporting?
During the first quarter all members of the group's producer organisations will be sent an e-mail prompt to take care of the reporting and a link to the form.
