Elker Oy

Elker Oy is a service company established in November 2004 for organising the collection and recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Elker Oy produces operational, reuse, competitive bidding, statistics compilation, reporting and other services for the producer organisations that established the company.

Owners

The producer organisations that established Elker Oy are:

» SELT Association
» ICT Producer Co-operative
» FLIP Association

The above producer organisations have transferred obligations by agreements to Elker Oy. A company that has joined one producer organisation will have access also to the recycling services of other Elker's producer organisations.

Administration

The board of directors of Elker Oy is composed of two persons from the boards of each producer organisations plus two expert members. Helena Castrén from Nokia Oyj acts as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
