Certificate for joining a producer organisation

You can prove that your company has taken care of the obligations by ordering a certificate from Elker Ltd. As the Finnish Waste Act (646/2011; 55 §) obliges, the certificate also proves to the distributor that the obligations have been taken care of.

The supervising authority, Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment may send a negligence fee to a producer that has not made transfer agreement with a producer organisation, appointed an authorised representative or sent the information stated in Waste Act 54 § to the authority.

The certificate shows the registration number of the producer organisation in the producer register of Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment that the producer reports to and the producer company's member number at the producer organisation it reports to.

The producers that have made a transfer agreement with SELT Association, ICT Producer cooperative or FLIP Association or made an agreement with Elker Ltd on Authorised Representation are registered in the producer register.
