Definition of consumer and company products
A consumer product is a product which can be used in households without altering it. Whether the product has been sold to a household or company does not make a difference. Products which do not meet this criterion are company products. Whether a company sells products directly to consumers or through a retailer or another company will not change anything.
All lamps, lighting equipment, thermostats and heaters are classified as consumer products because it is not possible to divide which of the products can be used in households and which in companies. All lamps, lighting equipment, thermostats and heaters should be reported to producer organisation as consumer products.
B2C = consumer product = device suitable for household use
