We provide quality and expert services for producers of electrical and electronic equipment to help them fulfil their producer responsibility.
We ensure that electrical and electronic equipment is primarily recycled in Finland. We are also involved in developing new recycling technology.
Elker is a service company for organising the collection and recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) in Finland. Elker Ltd produces operational, reuse, competitive bidding, statistics compilation, reporting and other services for the producer organisations that established the company.
Elker was established in November 2004 by producer organisations SELT Association, ICT Producer Co-operative and FLIP Association. The three organisations have transferred obligations by agreements to Elker. A company that has joined one producer organisation will have access also to the recycling services of other Elker's producer organisations.
Elker has over 15 years of experience on fostering WEEE producer responsibility. We strive to diminish impacts on environment in all our activities.
